IF YOU CANNOT VIEW THE FLASH ABOVE PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Connect your BR-HD50U VTR to a display monitor.
Power on your BR-HD50U VTR and eject any media that is loaded.
While holding the [STOP] button press the [MENU] button until the Advanced Menu appears.
Press the [HOLD] button to display the complete version set. Enter the software version as indicated in the last column Ex. MSD 0113 should be entered as "0113". NOTE* If the [LOCAL/REMOTE] switch is set to [REMOTE] the BR-HD50U will not respond when you press the [HOLD] button in the step above.
Please specify the version numbers for the following as shown on your setup screen (or '0000' for D-ILA projectors).
