Adaptive Geometrical Chroma Mapping

Application of data compression lowers chroma (color) resolution of the signal from a DVD to only one-quarter of luma (luminance) resolution. This causes lack of detail and definition in images displayed on your TV. JVC's Adaptive Geometrical Chroma Mapping fully restores the quality of the original image before compression. It works with component, S-video and composite signals, whether they are sourced from film or video.
